When Pilfer Paws finally returns with with an energetic Etsy Otasay has disappeared without a trace.

“Yo, where did this chick go.” He points to where her stool is. “You know, black imp. Super short. Really drunk.”

2,000 Degrees is no longer behind the bar, being replaced by some other person who worked there.

She look at the okagii before shrugging .”I dunno.” They looks down at where Otasay had sat then down to where the tan grun had been. “Maybe she ran off with the guy who was down there.”

Pilfer Paws’s brow furrows and he exchanges a worried glance at Etsy. “Where did 2D go?”

“He said something about having to find someone.” She shrugs again. “He went towards the bathroom. Maybe that’s where your friend is.”

Without another word Pilfer Paws and Etsy are scurrying of towards the bathrooms.

“Shit, where could she at?” Etsy struggles to communicate. Fuck, she really should practice more.

“Maybe she had to use the bathroom. She seemed like she was getting pretty out of it. But she doesn’t like using public restrooms.”

“Oh no."

Once they are at the bathrooms they depart, checking the stalls for both rooms just to be sure she wasn’t in there.

“She’s not in there.” Etsy reports.

“She wasn’t in there either…” Pilfer Paws’s teeth worry over his lip “Where could she be…?”

“Hey. What’s ‘bout back there?” Etsy points to a door labeled ‘EXIT’ with big bright red letters.

“I don’t think she’d leave, though. She’s not an idiot.”
